I’ve loved chocolate for as long as I can remember, and one of my favorite chocolate dishes is good old-fashioned chocolate cakes. But just because I love chocolate cake doesn’t mean I’m going to eat every cake I’m presented with. No, no. I only eat the best chocolate cake, otherwise, I wouldn’t eat any at all.
That’s because I’ve experienced a multitude of chocolate and cocoa cakes, some of which are terribly bad and not worth eating. I love chocolate and am a chocoholic, but I have my own standards. Badly made cakes don’t pass my lips. Especially if it contains chocolate as the main ingredient. Can you imagine eating a tasteless cake disguised as chocolate?
To me, it’s an insult. An insult to the absolute richness of the chocolate cake. Anyone who bakes a truly miserable cake should not be allowed near the oven at all. I’m talking about chocolate cake. So since I have a soft spot for this sinful, but bite-sized chocolate dessert, I set out to find as many chocolate cake recipes as possible.
And I tried every recipe I could think of until I found the one that produced the most delicious and perfect chocolate cake in the world. At least for me. After all, the taste of the cake is only important to me because I am the one eating it Bwahahaha… The cake is mine. It’s all mine! But if it’s just awful, I of course don’t mind sharing some of it with others.
These days, it’s easy to find chocolate cake recipes on the internet. Gone are the days when you had to ask parents, mothers, grandmothers, aunts, etc. to find a chocolate cake recipe. Can you imagine writing it down on paper and then losing it? That would be a damn inconvenience and a waste of time. Yes, the ability to find recipes online is really great. You can copy and paste recipes and save them for later. Some even have step-by-step photo instructions.
In fact, it is very easy to make a chocolate cake. Just mix everything together and pop it in the oven for at least 30 minutes and you’re. Done. The effort is minimal and the result is fantastic when finished. Of course, there are many different recipes for flourless chocolate cakes, low-fat cakes, high cocoa cakes, and even the famous five-minute chocolate cake!
